Christian Papillon, Founding Director
Christian Papillon began his career in the field of printing, where he rose to the position of General Manager. Devoting a cult in sport, he founded in 2005 with a friend, in parallel with his career in printing, Productions Illimitées and organized the first year, and for five editions, the Motocross Coors Light at Colisée Pepsi. In 2009, Mr. Papillon decided to start his own business in management of sports events and sport development, Productions Circus. The first project of the company, the summer Hockey tournament Classique Estivale de Hockey is a competition on synthetic ice hockey outside during the summer and was held for two years. In 2012, Mr. Papillon imagine a whole new sport, Freestyle Ice Skating, and created a pilot event in the Isle of Orleans. The project is a success and the first edition of the Red Bull Freeze, was held in Sapporo, Japan in February 2013 and 2014. He has also worked for the Festival d’été de Québec in 2010 and is now the sport director of World Championship Red Bull Crashed Ice since the summer of the same year. His numerous professional implications in the sports world provide him necessary skills and experiences. His vision and expertise in sport development, proven during his terms as the sport director of Red Bull Crashed Ice, is an asset that ensure the success of all Productions Circus’ projects.
Caroline Gagnon, Project Manager and Director of Marketing Communications
Caroline Gagnon has a strong academic background, holding both a BA and M.A. in Public Communication from Laval University, as well as a Pearson Edexcel Level 5 Diploma in Events Management from Brighton School of Business and Management. Caroline as several experiences in the marketind and communication industry, as well as in the events mangement. She worked worked as a communications advisor in the Department of Marketing and Communications of Quebec City Hall and as an events and communication manager for the Réseau du Sports Étudiants de Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches. Passionate about the event industry and the sport, she is involved in several sporting events, including the Women’s World Cup FIFA 2014, the 2015 Canada Winter Games and the World Hockey Championship 2015 junior. Caroline provides the necessary support to the coordination of all the projects. She coordinates the administrative communications and ensures strict monitoring with partners, in addition to participating in the coordination of projects.
