Dozens of athletes of freestyle ice skating responded to the call of the Red Bull Freeze, making the trip to Japan to attend the first edition of this event. Among them, the Canadian Philippe “Philou” Poirier, extreme skiing professional, who has signed several victories and five-time X-Games participants, has delivered an excellent performance. However, the Swiss Killian Braun, Red Bull Crashed Ice’s athlete, who came 3rd in the event of Niagara Falls, finished first with its breathtaking underflip.
“The basic idea was actually to develop an action sport for manic freestyle on slides”
